Landscape Stone
1. Landscape Stone adds interest to any setting with its random shaped pieces in varying thickness from 1-3” and diameters of 6-24”.

3. Tumbled Wall Stone is mechanically split, then tumbled; Tumbled Landscape Wall Stone has a traditional rustic look on all sides of the stone.
4. Natural Steppers enhance any landscape stone design with its asymmetrical pieces and varying thickness from 6-12” and diameters of 24-48”.
5. Steps are sawn on all sides and provide a clean, linear look to any setting.
6. Roughback is a natural strata slab from our quarry blocks and provides a unique unprocessed look to landscaping applications.

General Cleaning Methods:
1. Thoroughly wet area with clean potable water, then sponge clean.
2. Wet the area with clear water. Using a mild detergent, potable water, and a sponge, gently clean the landscape stone. Thoroughly rinse with clean water before the detergent dries.
3. Using a standard garden hose with a typical nozzle and normal tap pressure, wash the area. Never use cleaners that contain acids on limestone. It can dull, discolor, etch and
leave streaks on the finish of the landscape stone. Be cautious of common household cleaners, common foods and drinks (such as alcohol or citrus juices) which can contain acids. For more information on care and maintenance of Mankato Kasota Stone, please contact your local dealer.

Care During Landscape Stone Installation
During installation care must be given to mask and protect the landscape stone already set. All mortar droppings adhering to the landscape stone should be removed immediately. All tape should be removed as soon as work is completed in the area, to prevent any marking from tape adhesive. Sponge the landscape stone free of mortar along the joints as work progresses. After completing the mortar and tuck-pointing process, landscape stone should be cleaned of all stains and foreign matter by using a stiff fiber brush, water, mild soap, and final flushing with clear water. Note: the brush can dull the surface of honed or polished stone depending upon the pressure applied. |
